If you made it, it means you have great connections to artists and performers and most likely have accumulated a great deal of industry connections which make you very valuable. If you want to make a career out of this, you would need abnormally high soft skills. You would give up a good portion of your social life, love life, and or have a tough/unique relationship with the one you have. From seeing a manager that I used to work with - You would apply just like any job, but the job title isn't going to be "Idol Manager" but just for something "management" related.
